Modern Lights (formerly Eichen’s Lighting), was established in 1957 and is a family-owned lighting design showroom with a broad selection of up-scale designer style options for residential and commercial lighting needs. Located only 15 minutes from the heart of San Francisco. We meet the needs of individuals, business owners, and designers with a desire to invest in a level of craftsmanship and design which far exceeds the offerings of big box and discount stores. Our product line includes a broad inventory of traditional and modern lighting styles, ranging from Mediterranean, contemporary, modern, lodge, Tiffany, and arts and crafts selections. Designer brands such as Hubbardton Forge, Arteriors, Visual Comfort, Holtkoetter, Techlighting, and more, are displayed in our showroom. We are a price competitive company.
Generations of Light
As a third-generation lighting family, our passion illuminates everything we do. In fact, it was our Grandma Mitzi's well-designed, eclectic style that inspired the whole thing. As a painter and antique collector, Mitzi had an eye for finding the perfect piece at the right price. So, you could say helping you do the same is in our blood.
